Grilled Balsamic Glazed Portobello Mushrooms
4 to 6 portobello mushrooms, stems removed
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
Fresh basil, to serve
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper (omit black pepper if following AIP diet)
Place the mushrooms in a marinating container.
In a bowl combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and generously season to taste.
Pour the balsamic sauce over the mushrooms, and marinate 1 to 2 hours.
Preheat grill to medium heat.
Grill the mushrooms 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Serve with fresh basil.
