Slow Cooker Turkey & Cranberries

Ingredients

  • 1.5kg turkey breast
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or water)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3-4 carrots, sliced thick
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 lemon or orange, sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 Tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

 

Instructions

  1. Add 1 cup of chicken broth to the slow cooker
  2. Add sliced onion and carrots
  3. Put the turkey breast on top of the onion and carrots
  4. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and dried rosemary and thyme
  5. Put lemon or orange sliced on top.
  6. Pour cranberries over the top
  7. Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
